Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Is cash accepted?

(Temple Passes can be purchased at the ticket booth enroute to Angkor Wat. You will have your photo taken for each type of ticket: A 1-Day Pass=$37/pax, a 3-Day Pass=$62/pax & a 7-Day Pass=$72/pax. US dollar cash is accepted everywhere. ATMs and banks available in town where you can withdraw currency.)

 

What is the price of a designated driver ticket?

(A driver is hired along with his vehicle and it costs from $35 per day around Angkor. Extra charge from $5 to $15 or more will be applied according to long distance trips. The price includes gas, parking fees and toll roads)  

 

Can minors or dogs join the tour?

(Yes, minors can join the tour, but Dogs are not allowed)

 

Can I buy a gift certificate?

(Of course, you can)

 

Can I book a private tour?

(Tours are available as private or large group)

 

Should I eat lunch before the tour?

(If the tour begins in the morning, lunch break in Cambodia is between 12pm and 2:30pm. You can bring a lunch or purchase one)

 

Do you offer special pick-up or drop off arrangements?

(Of course, we do)

 

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

(It is possible, especially most visitors’ bathrooms have wheelchair access)

 

Where do I check in?

(At the hotel lobby with the help of the receptionist/front desk/concierge) 

 

What are the accepted forms of identification at check-in for your reservation?

(Passport or travel voucher)

 

How long is the tour?

(Usually between 6hrs and 8hrs, starting time at 8am. If sunrise or sunset included, the tour is between 12hrs and 14hrs.) 

 

Can we bring outside alcohol on the bus/van?

(Yes, you can but you are not allowed to drink inside the temple complex. Smoking is prohibited too, but visitors can smoke outside the temple complex)

 

What should I wear?

(People should wear whatever they are most comfortable, but make sure that they are long enough to fully cover your shoulders and knees. Those who are not dressed respectably will be turned away from climbing to view the upper-most terrace of Angkor Wat. Temperatures can be in the warmer range with a tropical feel. )   

 

Are bathrooms available along the route?

(Inside the Angkor Archaeological Sites, bathrooms are available) 

 

Is gratuity included for the tour guide?

(Gratuity for the tour guide / driver is not included in the tour.) 

 

What is the appropriate amount to tip your tour guide?

(Culturally, it is a client’s satisfaction, which is around a 10% of the tour costs)

 

Are there hotels near the starting/ending point of the tour?

(Hotels are a 30mins or 1h drive from the starting and ending point of the tour.)

 

What is the cancellation policy?

(Cancellation made 2 weeks before the tour starts, no charge. 7 days before the tour, we charge 30%.)

 

What if I'm late for my tour?

(No, matter, just let us know when you are ready)

 

Will I need a Cambodian Visa?

(Visa to enter the country are $20 (tourist), $25 (business) with a passport photo. Applying visa on arrival is easy and a short wait in line. The E-visa is available online. Make sure your passport will not expire within six months.)

 

Should I bring anything to give to kids?

(What to bring to give to kids: If you wish to help out Cambodian children, arrange a visit to a school or an orphanage and bring them necessary study supplies, toys, sporting equipment, a bike(s), clean water filtrations, a computer(s), building a classroom(s) etc.)

 

What else should I know?

- Currencies are using in Cambodia: Riel, US dollar, Thai Bath, Euro etc.
- International departure tax is $25, domestic is $6 and cash is accepted.

- Malaria medication is a personal choice. Malaria isn’t really a problem in Cambodia. During the tour you can bring mosquito repellent. Wearing long pants and long-sleeved shirts are good to prevent bites.
- Laundry services- hand-washed and air-dried. Outside hotel services are much cheaper, $1 per 1 kilo.
